Many of you have seen the buzz with concern to The Secret. Any idea what it's all about? I'm talking about the the present popular trend .
The Secret has aired on Oprah's television show , Larry King's show on CNN numerous times , and darting across the internet like the best thing since sliced bread however there's a little more you should know before we all get reeled in . No one told you there is a secret to The Secret and you ought to be alert to it.
To be honest , I was awestruck until I settled down and really took a moment to think about The Secret . When I got wind of it I sent email around the world . I even presented DVDs to partners . The Secret is a video that explains The Law of Attraction and how to attract abundance into your life. And it's true that The Secret is a Universal, scientifically demonstrated law using the science of Quantum Physics. In spite of this The Secret missed a couple of secrets that are crucial . The Secret presents information about attracting riches in life and just as you , I'm ready to let it happen . Why not ? The Secret explains how this works is you decide on what you desire, visualize it, feel the emotions of receiving it and you get what you want . I'm all for it. But is that how it really works ?
Can you imagine if it were so? That's not all it takes . Imagine all the greatest achievers in history who knew about and used The Secret just focused on getting what they wanted and waiting for great things to happen . Here I am, change my life . It is my strong desire and right. Meanwhile , there is no production, no inventions, no progress nothing . Where would society be ? This leads me to where I believe the message in The Secret is missing key steps that are needed for the process of the Law of Attraction.
Here's what I and many other people believe is missing and as important as anything you will learn from The Secret.
People have internal blocks that prevent them from receiving good things.
Many people don't feel deserving or worthy due to misaligned beliefs.
Without Action almost nothing happens. Remember TFAR
Thoughts = Feelings = Actions = Results
It's imperative to have aligned beliefs, thoughts and emotions and accompanied actions which are like a supercharger to the Law of Attraction. Without action hoping for better is an empty wish . That action may be something you never thought would matter such as standing in line getting a cup of coffee and striking up a conversation and then while there meeting the person who may be the key on your path of attracting your wealth and abundance . Maybe by taking action instead of doing nothing we actually arrived at a destination on our life path that was simply waiting for us and what was missing the whole time was to stop holding ourselves back and letting it happen. Almost nothing like that could have been possible without action. By being in action, we can change events , or a a different way of looking at it is we are directed into situations necessary that are all part of the big picture and process of activating the Law of Attraction. Ever hear the phrase, God helps those who help themselves?
Another important aspect of receiving is to feel worthy and deserving. Though was always our birthright to be abundant , many of our experiences have tainted our basic internal ability and belief to get what we always wanted . In our infancy we didn't think gave no thought about whether or not we deserved what we were given , we simply openly and naturally let it happen. In order to open the path to attract and openly accept our personal wealth and abundance we must:
- Remove emotional blocks and misaligned beliefs
- Set in motion an action plan and increase motivation to success
- Open the door to attract personal wealth & abundance
One way to begin clearing the path in order to attract and receive is to:
- first know exactly what you desire
- Be clear and focused to speed up the process
- Put our thoughts and emotions in order to clear the path of attraction
- Increase your emotional energy and vibration
- Plan your actions for success
Always thinking about your own problems is also another necessary reframe. We are all to be in service to others. Think about it from a money making deal-making standpoint . The greatest marketers or salespeople know the greatest return is when you provide a service or product that fills a need or solves a problem for others. When we are in service we are putting into action the more powerful thoughts and emotions that attract the things we desire most in order to do more of what we do for others.
Another area to focus on along with being grateful is in giving . If abundance comes to us and stops at us, it stops coming. But as abundance comes to us and goes through us, it keeps coming, like a vacuum. Tithing has always been part of this process throughout time. Selfishness is sure to block the process to attract wealth and abundance.
So as you can now see , there is more to The Secret using the law of Attraction than what people would like to believe.
