Halloween Dress Up

What could be better than a holiday where dressing up in a crazy costume is not only allowed, it is encouraged? Many people have fond Halloween memories from childhood playing Halloween dress up and dressing up as Superman or a scary witch and traipsing through the neighborhood trick-or-treating. Celebrating Halloween does not have to end because you have grown up!

What is your unconditional favorite day of the year? Is it Valentine's Day when the sweethearts come out to play? Wow, was that ever corny? Anyway, it seems we all tend to have a favorite day of the year. Whether it's Christmas, Thanksgiving, or Easter, we can always count on it being regular. I love that about holidays. They come every year, regardless of if some scrooge says otherwise.

As for me and my daughter, we share the same favorite holiday. We absolutely love Halloween. Acceptable, so it's not technically considered a holiday, but it darn well should be. It's that one day out of 365 that even adults can act completely bizarre and not be ridiculed for it.

Now, the only problem with this unique and exciting occasion is that it only comes around every October 31st. That's not much when you're a Halloween fanatic.

Some of us would like to play Halloween dress up all year round, or at least once a month. Fortunately these days there is a way we can accomplish such fun.

Do you take pleasure in playing Halloween dress up? I mean, take a look around at all those costumes available these days. How can anyone not get pleasure from this senseless activity? I wish we would have had such great costumes when I was a kid. I think back then we actually rolled up in toilet paper to become a mummy. You certainly don't have to resort to such measures anymore.

In this day and age Halloween dress up is simpler than ever. Practically any kind of costume you can visualize is feasible. They even have make-up and fake blood that look real. I would have paid anything for those fangs they sell in specialty shops now days. They literally attach to your K-9 teeth, making them look completely real.
